Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music songwriter and singer. Her debut singles came out in 2007 and a full album called Satisfied. 2013 was the year she launched her second album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe Performing with Blake Shelton In 2015 she came out with The Blade, another album that brought her immense popularity and praise. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for over fifteen years and has spent the majority of that time as a deputy city manager for Iowa City. She is currently the Assistant Village manager and holds a wide range of responsibilities, including managing the Community Development and Building Department and overseeing grants and special projects. The role of Ashley at Riverside is to assist with the day-to-day operation of village services, and to implement the strategy laid out by elected officials. Ashley's previous positions included the planning of municipal services, public communications, budgeting, personnel management and collective negotiations. The focus was also on climate action. Ashley's engagement with national organisations and work within communities with various populations has provided her with insights into how organizations with all sizes operate. Ashley's course focuses on contemporary strategies for public management and leadership from the viewpoint of an experienced professional. She concentrates on making ethical and strategic decisions to take advantage of today's opportunities and challenges. She also helps manage intergovernmental relations.
